Filing Cabinet

Jeremy and I have inherited a black filing cabinet - leftover from the new Third Degree work space we worked on this weekend.

I'm thinking it will fit in nicely in our office with the black chalkboard wall and my retro metal work desk. But I want to dress it up a little - to make it unique and fun.

Blik Decals, a vinyl cut-out peel and stick decals, are the easiest thing I can think of to help dress it up.

Flocking

Which one is your favorite?

I'm more partial to space invaders and Keith Haring.

I like the Flocking. It adds a bit of feminine pattern to the space.

The flocking. In white, along one side and then peeking around to the front of the drawers in irregular places.

My second favorite is the open circles.

I vote Flocking. There is some quality about it that I think would go nicely in that space.

Did you ever see the Mary McDonald office featured in Domino a few years ago? In her office, they had basically mod podged her filing cabinet with paper (maybe wallpaper?). Anyway, I'm sure a search of Flickr or somewhere would show it. It was the same issue where it showed her black and white (horizontal) stripe office (inspiration for our bathroom on 67th St).
